ABN – Dubai-based Investbridge Capital has partnered with Centum Investment Company and SABIS Holdings to establish schools in Africa.
The consortium is expected to invest “hundreds of millions of dollars” into the education project.
SABIS already operates in 16 countries and the company will take over the running of the news school, which will receive capital from Investbridge and Centum.
More than 20 schools are expected to be launched by the companies over the next five years with each school costing between US$20 million and $35 million.
Investbridge CEO Mark DeSario said: “We expect to deploy hundreds of millions of dollars in the coming years.”
