ABN - The chairman of Shell South Africa, Bonang Mohale has announced his formal departure from the role, which he has held since 2009.
Mohale will be replaced by Hloniphizwe Mtolo, Shell’s downstream South Africa business lead and retail general manager.
Mohale will also vacate the position of vice president upstream, integrated gas and country chair South Africa, a role which he has fulfilled for three years.
“I am honoured to have been part of this dynamic organisation and to have had the opportunity to lead, serve and uphold the values and principles of the organisation. My journey in Shell has been truly remarkable and enriching,” said Mohale.
“I leave Shell South Africa with contentment knowing that our business demonstrated resilience, continuous improvement and notable growth.”
chairman-elect Mtolo said: “It is an exceptional opportunity to be appointed to this role, I look forward to working with all Shell partners to pursue our purpose of providing reliable energy solutions.”
